Hello!
I'm Natasha, the reflexologist behind Reflex-aaah! My interest in reflexology began back in 1999, when I lay on my kitchen table for my first reflexology treatment. Fifteen years later, the unorthodox kitchen table is gone, but the passion to share the healing relaxation remains!
Reflexology allows me to exercise my natural intuition of others’ thoughts and feelings; through its practice, I can help people to relieve their pain and relax. I love nothing more than seeing the relaxation on my clients’ faces within minutes of beginning a treatment. Their stress-free smiles after the session stay with me for the rest of the day.
The varied professional roles I’ve had over the years have given me the experience to interact with people of all ages and from all walks of life. I’ve worked with children on a one-to-one support basis in both nursery and primary school, as well as with babies in an HIV hospice abroad. When I was a medic in the Armed Forces, I orchestrated the medical requirements of a 500-strong regiment of soldiers, both at the medical centre and on operational tour in Afghanistan and Iraq. I’ve also worked in residential homes for the elderly and as a nurse in busy hospital wards and clinics. My professional background is diverse, but it is connected by a single thread: people-centred jobs.
I appreciate my life and I encourage my clients to examine aspects in their own lives – diet, sleep, exercise, even meditation – all of which affect their health in subtle ways. I have a broad range of qualifications, and have received instruction from talented and gifted teachers. My internationally certified sports massage trainers imparted a great deal of knowledge that I frequently use in my current practice. The reflexology school at which I studied is the only institution in the world licensed to practise and teach the ‘Original Ingham Method’ – a pioneering form of reflexology that opened up a whole new realm of ways to work.
With each treatment I give, I always hope that the person in front of me feels the same – and with pregnant mums I hope the baby likes it too! When you come to see me, I hope that you feel freedom to let go. While I can’t make all problems evaporate, I am passionately committed to providing the best possible care, through taking the time to get to know and understand my clients’ individual needs.
